Course Goals and Objectives
The manager/supervisor ergonomic training is designed to provide the line management team with the knowledge needed to recognize ergonomic risks, identify opportunities for improvement and reinforce proper employee technique. The session covers the basic principles of ergonomics including biomechanics, work physiology, very basic anatomy and ergonomic design principles. A review of ergonomic best practices including the roles & responsibilities are covered. At the completion of the course the attendees will be able to recognize potential ergonomic issues within their work areas and provide guidance on corrective actions. The session can be customized to include examples from the operations.
